Henry Carrillo is a Senior Computer Vision Scientist at Genius Sports and an Adjunct Professor at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. His research interests are related to all forms of artificial intelligence applications, but particularly to computer vision, machine learning, data science, edge computing-IoT and robotics.
He is classified as an Investigador Asociado according to MINCIENCIAS latest evaluation (No 833 of 2018). In 2018, he was an International Visiting Fellow in the Institute for Analytics and Data Science (IADS), University of Essex (Colchester, UK). Between 2010 and 2016 he was a visiting researcher at: University of Oxford (Oxford, UK), University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, USA), University of Bremen (Bremen, Germany), Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia) and LAAS-CNRS (Toulouse, France).
